Description
Porcelain brooch, with a drawing (a decal) by Patina vaz Dias.
Each piece is handmade by Annemiek Hamelink in porcelain clay. Porcelain is, after firing, relatively stronger than other ceramics. Another difference with others ceramics is that it is translucent where it is thin. These pieces are fired trice. After the first bisque firing it is sanded and glazed. After the glaze firing the decal is applied and it is fired for the third time.
{CLEANING}
Soak in a soft soap solution and use a brush and toothpaste if need be, rinse and dry well.
{SHIPPING}
Will be shipped by registered post in a giftbox. This gift box will go in to a box with bubble wrap or other protective material. For this I use as much recycled boxes, wrap as possible, to safe the environment.
