Description
Chessboard with custom chess pieces in porcelain. Each set set I make is a one-of-a-kind creation made for you! It can be with almost any animal/theme. I will do a proposal of what it would look like. I will you keep you up to date during the making. As long as the pieces aren’t fired there is room for adjustments to the pieces.
The tiles of the board are made in porcelain too and are set in painted frame.
Each piece is crafted and modelled by hand from porcelain clay, bisque fired, glazed and fired once more at the high temperature were porcelain gets it’s typical sheen and translucency were thin enough.
It takes me about a week to make this, but as I cannot work on it full time, I need to brood on the design, clay needs to dry, the kiln has to be full before firing, so it takes me at least 4 weeks.
