Here the pictures of a custom order chess set with animals from around the world. These animals were chosen because they have a special meaning to both the person for whom the chess set is and the person whom ordered the chess set.
This is their reaction when they received the set:
“Thanks thanks thanks so much!!!!!!!! We LOVE it!!!”
Of course a lot of emails with pictures had gone to the customer to show how the set was progressing so things could be adjusted were needed during the making.
These are the pieces:
- King: bear
- Queen: oryx or reindeer
- Bishop: owl
- Knight: kangaroo
- Rook: falcon
- Pawn: marlin
The board is made of porcelain tiles set in an oak frame.
