{PORCELAIN}
Each piece is handmade by Annemiek Hamelink in porcelain clay. Porcelain clay is different in composition from other clays, it is relatively strong and translucent where it is thin . It’s fired at least twice, once at a low temperature, than it is sanded and if need be a glaze is applied. After that it’s fired at the high temperature.
{CLEANING/MAINTENANCE}
Dust carefully when needed. The dome is loose and can be cleaned seperatly. The battery can be changed by lifting up the compleet piece. Best do this with 2 persons, so one can hold up the piece and another can change the coin battery
{SHIPPING}
All items are double boxed, with bubble wrap or other protective material for shipping. For this I use as much recycled boxes and wrap as much as possible, to safe the environment.
